Book to Movie Review: The Book Thief

I haven’t read the book yet, but now I plan on adding it to my long list. I really felt like I could identify with the characters, and I feel like I have a better grasp on the situation the people were put into (Jews and German alike) now.

The whole movie felt very realistic even though it is a fiction. The quality (production value) was very high even though I had never heard of it before. The narrator wasn’t annoying, but it would have been the same movie without him entirely, kinda weird. If you feel like a good war drama this is the way to go.
